I decided to try this place out while I was in Travelers Rest visiting from Kentucky and I was highly disappointed with the good and service that I received. I ordered nachos and got a gooey mess that lacked flavor. All of the Nachos were stuck together into a huge soggy and sticky blob. The nachos didn't have lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream or anything. They just took some chips, cheese and steak and decided to name this plate nachos. This is the first Mexican restaurant where I have received nachos like this. They weren't edible or appetizing to put it lightly. I hardly ever complain but when I called the restaurant the person who answered was rude and informed me that I got what I asked for and that if I wanted lettuce or tomatoes I would have to pay 3.00 more dollars for it. These nachos were already close to ten dollars without those condiments. I decided to just drive back and get my money back and say never again. I highly recommend that those of you who rate this place highly venture out and try a different Mexican restaurant because this is truly not a god place to dine. I will not be back!!!!!

I'm picky about my Mexican food and Molina's was great. Nice location, friendly staff and food tastes very good with good prices. I'll be back!

We were there at 7:00 on a Tuesday in March and there was nothing that warranted the 4.5 star rating that encouraged us to try this place. Unfortunately, everything we were served was from the poor quality Mexican restaurant playbook that combines canned food and a microwave oven. Salsa from a jar with thin flavorless tortilla chips for starters. A fish taco that was made with chopped dry talapia and nothing else. The chalupa featured canned refried beans, topped with dead lettuce and guacamole from a squeeze tube. On the plus side, the prices were reasonable, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Molinas has the freshest-tasting salsa and we love that Mexican Ranch dip. Everything is always tasty, the service is fast, and the wait staff is friendly and personable. It feels like you're visiting friends. :) Thanks!

Very good Mexican restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and the food came very quickly. The combination plate I ordered was not too spicy and the flavor was excellent. I look forward to returning soon.

Hey ya'll! I've eaten here a few times. For the most part, it's just regular truck Mexican. You know, that's where the truck just pulls up to the restaurant and unloads the standard Combination #1-#32, with cheese dip. But lemme tell you this, Tonight was awful. 1. Don't let them sit you at that tiny table near the front door.... dear Baby Jesus. I had to look at Traveler Rest butts for my entire meal. Oh, and the table that they sat us at... dirty. Not just kinda dirty, but Christina Aguilera dirty. When the chip girl showed up, and I asked if she would clean the table first.... you know she shot me side eye. The chips were cold... like straight out of the Tostitos bag. After waiting with no service or drinks for about 15 minutes, the bartender decided to come over. Anyways, to end it... the sodas were flat, the refills were scarce, and unfortunately there was not reason for the server to say "Hot plate" when he sat it down. It just wasn't a good night at all. I would say that you'd have a better chance by looking closer into Greenville for your everday standard mexican plate. I took a pic of all the butts in my face. It was really uncomfortable. I hope ya'll have a better experience than I did.

I have been here many times and the food and the service are both always fantastic! The prices are very affordable as well. Great fun, friendly atmosphere. If you haven't been yet, I would highly recommend trying Molinas out!

Go here and get a bowl of the chicken soup. Seriously, just do it. If you get anything else, you're on your own. I assume that the food is comparable to the Taylor's location, which isn't bad...but if I haven't mentioned it yet, go here and get a bowl of the chicken soup.

Molina's is a fresh alternative to the abundance of options for Mexican food. I have been here 20+ times and have never been disappointed. The Mole is top notch, not too spicy or sweet, and the plate is always piled high. The truth is there always seems to be more food for the dollar than anywhere else. The combination plates are plentiful with lots of vegetarian choices. The sweet tea is A+!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
